Transport Options

Guests will be able to travel by bus to and from Castlemaine to the venue in Campbells Creek all night via Bus or Mini Bus - details below.

Bus

A chartered bus will take guests from Castlemaine to the venue between 4pm and 5pm, and return guests between 1.30am and 2.30am.

You will need a ticket for the bus. It costs $10 each way and you can buy tickets here. Payment can be made via bank transfer or Paypal. If you can’t afford it please go ahead and book anyway. No need to contact us.

mini bus

A mini bus will do round trips from the venue to Castlemaine every 30 minutes from 6pm to 2am. To take the mini bus you will need to pay the driver $5 cash on the night.

Everyone is encouraged to bring a $5 note to take advantage of this option if needed.

You may use the mini bus even if you have purchased a ticket on the chartered bus, however we cannot give you a refund, sorry.

The mini bus seats 9 passengers. If the bus is full, don’t fret; the next trip is only 30 mins away. Our driver Bryn can take passengers anywhere in Castlemaine proper (within reason) including trips to the shop.

taxis and ride share

This region has a limited number Ubers in operation which you can access via the app.

Silvertop and 13CABS also have local providers for taxi services via their regular numbers.

If you opt for a taxi or Uber please be aware it is likely you will have to allow up to an hour’s wait time.

Directions

address

The address of the property is 153 Campbells Creek Fryers Rd, Campbells Creek.

The entry to to the event is at the above address and will be clearly visible from the road through signage.

A further 100m along the road, there is a small cottage on the property which appears on google maps under the address 161 Campbells Creek, Fryers Rd, Campbells Creek which is a handy landmark if you get lost.

Driving from Melbourne to castlemaine

Take the Calder Fwy/M79.

Keep left at the fork to continue on Calder Fwy/M79 following the signs for State Rte 40 to Bendigo.

Take the B180 exit towards Elphingstone/Castlemaine.

Continue on the Pyrenees Hwy/B180 to Castlemaine.

DRIVING FROM castlemaine to campbells creek

Travel south on Barker St/Midland Hwy/Pyrenees Hwy/A300/B180 towards Daylesford.

Once you hit the five flags hotel, turn left onto Campbells Creek-Fryers Rd. Drive for 1.6km (3 minutes) and you will arrive at the entrance of the property.

Use the cottage (left) as a landmark if you miss the entrance.

parking

The car park is right across the road from the property. Follow the signs and you’ll be golden.
